Don't Tase Me, Bro! Christmas Meme

It's Sunday night and I have been tagged by Laurie @ Teamwork is for Suckers to do this meme. Let's begin, shall we?

The Meme:
1. Wrapping or gift bags? I am all about gift bags. No tape necessary.

2. Real or artificial tree? It never occurred to me to get my own tree. If I want to look at the stupid tree I will go to my ma's house. I'm sure if I ever get married or have mini-wenches I will start doing the tree thing. But since I still think of myself as about 18 that seems a long way off.

3. When do you put up the tree? See above. Also, my ma puts up her tree the weekend before Christmas and then leaves it up until practically Valentine's Day. It is nice and depressing.

4. When do you take the tree down? See above. Also, my help is usually enlisted by my ma to do this. Thanks ma.

5. Do you like eggnog? I've never tasted it. Raw eggs = no thanks.

6. Favorite gift received as a child? I'm way to fickle to have a favorite anything really. I do distinctly remember receiving a Cabbage Patch Doll though. And a Pound Puppy. I thought those were pretty cool. I was also very into Rainbow Brite, Strawberry Shortcake, Jem and My Little Pony.

7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes - it is in one of those snow globe thingies though. I like Jesus - he is cool.

8. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I worked for a horrible shrew of a woman once. She gave me a plastic $2 watch. Nice!

9. Mail or email Christmas cards? I generally don't do Christmas cards at all. I'm very conflicted about it at times though.

10. Favorite Christmas movie? The Muppet Christmas Carol and Scrooged.

11. When do you start shopping for Christmas? I generally buy everything online because I hate crowds. Ok let's face it, I hate PEOPLE. I start in November.

12. Favorite things to eat at Christmas? Sugar cookies with no frosting, kiss cookies, cranberry bread. My ma makes a crapload of breads, cookies and bars (for other people) and I get to eat the deformed/burnt ones. Yay!

13. Clear lights or colored on the tree? I like the simplicity of clear lights.

14. Favorite Christmas song? I'm a sucker for Josh Groban's version of O, Holy Night. Sure he is gangly and kind of dorky, but that boy can sing.
